Ms. Vicky Ng brings over 20 years of legal experience to her role as a key partner at Messrs. Woon Wee Yuen & Partners, where she has been instrumental since 2003. After joining Mr. Woon shortly after the firm’s founding in Johor, she played a pivotal role in expanding its presence to the Klang Valley. Her expertise spans corporate, commercial, conveyancing, and maritime law, serving both local and international clients, particularly from the Chinese business community.
Ms. Ng graduated from the University of Leicester in 1996 and was called to the English Bar (Middle Temple) in 1997, bringing international credentials that resonate with clients seeking cross-border legal expertise. She was admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 5 September 1998. Following her admission, Ms. Ng was awarded a prestigious British Council scholarship to pursue further studies at the University of Cardiff, where she completed her Master's degree in Commercial Law, further strengthening her expertise in corporate and commercial matters.
Ms. Ng began her legal career at Messrs. Khaw & Partners and later joined Joseph Tan Jude Benny, a leading maritime law firm in Singapore, where she helped establish their Malaysian associate firm, Joseph & Partners. Her background in maritime law connects her to specialised consultants, enabling the firm to offer valuable services such as maritime transport advisory, insurance claims, cargo loss recovery, and dispute resolution.

Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur – Asset Acquisition & Project Revival
We acted for an international restaurant group in acquiring a partially abandoned urban mixed-use development in Kuala Lumpur via asset acquisition. Our scope included termination of the original joint venture and transfer of title. The project is now undergoing redevelopment and regulatory re-submission. -
Johor Industrial Land Acquisition – 40 Parcels
We represented a Malaysian entity in acquiring 40 industrial land plots from a national asset management agency. Our services covered due diligence, drafting and execution of land sale agreements, and regulatory compliance. -
Acquisition of a Malaysian Precision Plastics Manufacturer by a Chinese Listed Group
We advised a Chinese industrial group, via its Singapore holding vehicle, on the acquisition of a majority stake in a Malaysian plastic injection molding and tooling company. Services included legal due diligence, share sale agreement, factory lease structuring, loan refinancing, and compliance with Malaysia’s National Land Code for foreign ownership. The deal was successfully completed with a transaction value of RM23.04 million. -
Cross-Border Asset Purchase from Global EMS Provider
We acted in an asset purchase transaction involving high-value production machinery from a global electronics manufacturing services provider. Our role included drafting and negotiating the asset sale agreement, managing delivery risk, software licensing concerns, and transitional support terms. -
Industrial Land Acquisition in Port Dickson by Chinese Medical Device Manufacturer (RM81M)
We assisted a leading Chinese medical device company Antmed Malaysia Sdn Bhd in acquiring industrial land worth approximately RM81 million in Port Dickson as part of its Southeast Asia regional expansion. This transaction was reported in The Edge Malaysia.
